The Road to Kindergarten Readiness: Language Policy for Deaf Children Ages 0-5 Workshop

Description: As a result of a collaboration between CAD, CSUN, and LEAD-K, California Association of the Deaf produced a Language Policy report that is currently available on our cad1906.org website. The workshop called The Road to Kindergarten Readiness: Language Policy for Deaf Children Ages 0-5 covers the most essential issues of how language deprivation syndrome happens. It also comes with five recommendations for community advocacy.
